Hi Rose-Marie,
We’re trying to start up this conference for the 2011-2012 school year. SWCMUN will be on October 21-23, 2011. We’d really love to have participation from Edmonton area high schools, as it’s tough for Calgary and Edmonton schools to meet up in Model UN. I had every intention of taking my team to the U of A HSMUN in February (that’s how I got your e-mail address), but unfortunately it coincided with the U of C HSMUN. We’d like to get more Alberta high schools organizing conferences like SWCMUN. As far as I know, there aren’t any high school-organized Model UN conferences in Alberta. We’d like to see that change. Please consider bringing your students down to Calgary for our conference, we’d love to have you!

Have never participated in this kind of seeion before and would love to have my students get invovlved. Please forward any information possible or the names of other Edmonton high school teachers who have done this kind of thing in the past and I’ll (with permisssion) pick their brains. Thanks so much
